Firefly Writing Coaching is ideal for people who:
~ Have felt the spark of writing in their hearts for a long time, but can’t seem to turn it into a fire.
~ Are either blocked on a big project, or don’t have a project yet, but WANT to.
~ Long to make more space for writing in their lives.
~ Want to understand their unique creative selves, what makes them bloom and what makes them wilt.
~ Aren’t afraid of letting out belly laughs and tears.
You can expect to leave coaching with:
~ A deeper understanding of who you are as a writer — your skills, your struggles and your material.
~ Words! If you arrive with a project you can expect to move it far along its path. If you arrive with a blank slate you can expect it to be covered in words.
~ Feedback on your writing that is honest, meaningful and kind.
~ A relationship with a coach who has been there.
~ Loads of prompts and exercises to get you going when you’re stuck.
~ Writerly gifts.
You won’t leave coaching with:
~ A publishing plan. We want to help you create the most powerful, honest and evocative writing you can. Where you take it after that is where you take it after that. We will cheer from the sidelines, but we won’t be guides on that process.
~ Tips on query letters, corporate writing or other ways to monetize the process.
~ A guaranteed word count. We will help you tap into your own motivation and understand your own blocks, but we won’t force you towards goals that don’t feel right.
